Get to know Laura

Hometown and what it’s known for: Buderim, Sunshine Coast, Australia. We’re known for growing the “world’s finest ginger”, which can actually be found in most grocery stores here in Vancouver!

Travel style: relaxing or adventure? Definitely adventure! I grew up doing multi-day hikes with my family and exploring local areas, so I really struggle to sit still for too long while on holiday.

Mountain or ocean: Thankfully, living in Vancouver means I don't have to choose.

My perfect Sunday: Breakfast out with friends, followed by a nice long hike or a day snowboarding on the slopes, then home to relax with Netflix or a good book.

If I had to eat one food for the rest of my life: Sushi - there’s so many amazing combinations, it would take a while to get sick of it!
